“This print has been inspired by a favourite childhood nursery rhyme of ours. The rhyme itself is from a nineteenth-century English poem, ‘The Star’ by Jane Taylor, first published in 1806.”

Favorite track: I Know the Feeling
Laughing my ass off
rolling on the floor
biting the carpet
scaring the cat
nearly dying
by falling out of the window
in front of a guy who looks like Bill Gates
who then horrified
runs out on the street
and is accidentally killed
by a yellow bulldozer
Come on, let’s go back to God. He hurt us, but he’ll heal us.
He hit us hard,
but he’ll put us right again.
In a couple of days we’ll feel better.
By the third day he’ll have made us brand-new,
Alive and on our feet,
fit to face him.
We’re ready to study God,
eager for God-knowledge.
As sure as dawn breaks,
so sure is his daily arrival.
He comes as rain comes,
as spring rain refreshing the ground.
Do you know what I hate?
I hate it when you’re grappling with someone, say randori ne-waza, and their head is pressed against yours to hold you down, and you are both sweating, and an exchange of sweat occurs.
That’s what I hate.
