I don’t need to be anything other than a prison guard’s son
I don’t need to be anything other than a specialist’s son
I don’t have to be anyone other than a birth of two souls in one
Part of where I’m going is knowing where I’m coming from
…I don’t want to be anything other than what I’ve been trying to be lately
All I have to do is think of me and I have peace of mind
The country is in deep trouble. We’ve forgotten that a rich life consists fundamentally of serving others, trying to leave the world a little better than you found it. We need the courage to question the powers that be, the courage to be impatient with evil and patient with people, the courage to fight for social justice. In many instances we will be stepping out on nothing, and just hoping to land on something. But that’s the struggle. To live is to wrestle with despair, yet never allow despair to have the last word.

If you’re looking in the mirror of your life, and you see yourself reflected, you see your sinful nature reflected… We should strive to see Jesus Christ reflected in the mirror of our lives.
instead of living, your life becomes all about maintaining – the mask, the façade, the secret, whatever it is and you miss out on living and on real relationships.
