It’s the Royal Fly Killer’s birthday.
So far, the flies have left her alone.
We’re all going to see the HMS stage production tonight.

As I’m sure you can imagine (and google) this has caused quite a stir among the online community. To summarize, some people thought the change from wave to smile was genius. Others considered the change absolutely pointless and ugly.
This too caused expression of opinions. Most (everyone) thought the thing was bogus, pretentious, and just a way to make a logo sound impressive.
Personally? I think the smile is splendiferously genius. I like the plain cans with the simple sans-serif font. However, I agree that the off-centered words/logo/calorie count doesn’t work. The ‘si’ on the end is a little lost from the rounded ‘pep’.
What do you guys think?

I got like 50% of my hair bleached. So I look kind of blonde.
It’s pretty awesome.
In a couple days to a week, I’ll dye my hair bright red.
That’ll be maybe a week before we go to England.
I guess I should probably mention that we’re going to England February first. We get back the thirteenth. Without my dad.
He’ll be heading to Barcelona for a conference for his company.
The Friday we get back? The 13th of February? That’s the day Family Camp starts. So we’ll get back, and then later that day drive to a retreat-esque place for FC until Sunday.
We’re a little crazy (in case you missed it, the crazy hair, crazy travel, etc.), but at least it’s fun!

By popular demand, the book club date has been changed to June, 21, 2008. E mails will go out tonight to those whom I’ve emailed, and a new poster will be up at school by tomorrow afternoon.
And congrats to Avery. First comment! Let’s get a discussion going! Any parents or teachers think it’s important to put the stress on now, so that the real world is easier? Any other views?
Exams 2-3, Done;
I wrote Economics yesterday and IT today. Economics went well, but it could’ve gone better. IT went the, well but could’ve gone better.
Book Club, Advertised;
I put up the poster advertising my book club after I finished the IT Exam. I actually saw four (4) Afrikaans 9th graders looking at it after I put it up on the bulletin board by the office! I can’t wait!

So last time, yes, I blogged once a term. And then I didn’t say anything. IWe’re hoping to change that. I’ll try to do it at least once a month, hopefully more often.
The blog’s layout doesn’t match mine yet, but that’s simply because I don’t know how to design a wordpress blog yet. It’ll get there sometime.
